How will you feel for families who can't afford basic amenities?
We often do not notice or see the plight of the less fortunate.
Imagine being in the shoes of low-income families who struggle to maintain a roof over their heads and to put food on the table to feed their children.
While the rest of us sleep soundly at night in the comfort of our own beds, these families worry how they can get by another day or what will happen to the future of their kids.
SG Hearts visit these low-income families to support them with supplies of items and food that will go a long way in encouraging them to hope for a brighter future.
What happens when we grow old and are left unsupported?
The thought of struggling to make ends meet especially when you are already old, can be hard to imagine.
Sadly, this is a reality for a handful of elderly Singaporeans who don't have children to support them nor do they have the luxury to enjoy life when they are old.
SG Hearts pay these old folks regular visits to chat with them, keeping them company and giving them food supplies to meet their basic day-to-day needs.
